What Huntington Beach and Seal Beach do to a window
Huntington Beach is flat and open to the Pacific, with nothing between the water and the houses but Pacific Coast Highway, so the salt travels farther inland here than anywhere else in the county. The beachfront homes along PCH in Sunset Beach and Surfside and the Downtown numbered streets take the surf spray directly, and the salt dries on the west glass as a white haze in two or three weeks. Behind them, Huntington Harbour is a set of man-made islands with the harbor at every back door, and the bayside glass on Trinidad, Davenport, Humboldt and Admiralty Islands fogs with salt mist on every afternoon breeze and picks up a fine grime from the boat traffic in the channels.
Up the bluff it is a different list. SeaCliff, Edwards Hill and Brightwater sit on the hill above the Bolsa Chica wetlands, and the marine layer that sits on the coast most mornings from May through July leaves a damp salt film on the view glass facing the ocean and the marsh. The lots are irrigated every morning on very hard water, and the overspray from the yards and from the SeaCliff fairways leaves mineral spots along the lower panes that frost over a summer. In Seal Beach the Old Town cottages and the homes up on the Hill get the salt off the pier and the river mouth, and the eucalyptus and palms along Ocean Avenue and in the older Huntington neighborhoods fill the gutters all year. The fall Santa Anas add brown dust to all of it.
Beachfront and harbor-front homes in Sunset Beach, Surfside, Downtown Huntington and on the Huntington Harbour islands do best every month or two, with quarterly the rest of the year and the inside glass done once a year. Homes on the bluff in SeaCliff, Edwards Hill and Brightwater and in Seal Beach are fine on a quarterly plan with a visit after the Santa Anas. Harbor houses have walls of glass and sliders facing the docks, beach houses have three stories of windows facing the water, and we clean both with water-fed poles from the ground, the patio or the dock. We know the gate procedures at Surfside, SeaCliff, Brightwater and the gated Harbour islands, and send a text the morning of each visit.

Huntington Beach and Seal Beach window cleaning questions
How much does window cleaning cost in Huntington Beach and Seal Beach?
First-clean pricing varies by home size and service package. A first cleaning, inside and out, is $259 for a home up to 2,000 square feet, $329 for 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, and $429 for larger homes on our Silver package. How often should windows be cleaned in Huntington Beach and Seal Beach?
Beachfront and harbor-front homes in Sunset Beach, Surfside, Downtown Huntington and on the Huntington Harbour islands pick up salt within weeks and do best every month or two. Homes on the bluff in SeaCliff, Edwards Hill and Brightwater and in Old Town Seal Beach are fine on a quarterly plan with a visit after the fall Santa Anas. Most people have the inside glass done once a year.
Can you clean the harbor-side glass in Huntington Harbour?
Yes. Most Harbour homes have a wall of glass and a set of sliders facing the dock, and the salt and boat grime build up there faster than anywhere else on the house. We clean the glass with water-fed poles from the patio or the dock, both sides of the glass railings, and clear the slider tracks so they stop grinding on sand and salt.
Do you work inside Surfside, SeaCliff and the gated Harbour islands?
Yes. We are set up for the gate procedures at Surfside Colony, SeaCliff on the Greens, Brightwater and the gated islands in Huntington Harbour, and work each one on a regular day. Add us to your gate list or give us the procedure when you book, and we send a text the morning of each visit so you know when we are coming.
